Full day of music, arts and activities to feature the Ben Flournoy Trio, 911 Band and Six-O-Nine
BAINBRIDGE, Ga. — Downtown Bainbridge will come alive with music, art and community activities when the River South Music & Arts Festival returns Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026.
The festival will offer live entertainment throughout the day, culminating in performances by three dynamic bands. Six-O-Nine will take the stage at 4 p.m., followed by 911 Band at 5:45 p.m. and the Ben Flournoy Trio at 7:30 p.m.
Ben Flournoy is one of Pop Rock’s fastest-rising young artists, blending infectious hooks, modern blues guitar and a fresh touch of new rockabilly. His original single “So Beautiful” reached No. 24 on the Mediabase Top 40 Pop Chart, showcasing a sound that is both radio-ready and rooted in exceptional musicianship.
In 2026, Flournoy was selected to attend American Songwriter’s prestigious “Between the Lines” event in Nashville, Tennessee. He will also appear at the Chattahoochee Songwriters Festival in North Georgia alongside acclaimed songwriters whose credits include Luke Combs, Zac Brown Band and Warren Zeiders. This November, he will make his Australian debut as a featured international artist at one of the country’s largest music festivals.
With explosive guitar playing, unforgettable live performances and songs that bridge classic musicianship with today’s Pop Rock sound, Flournoy is quickly becoming an artist to watch.
Also appearing is 911, a Tallahassee-based band that has established itself as one of North Florida’s most distinctive music groups. The band performs original music written by award-winning singer-songwriter Drew Tillman. Over the years, its music and arrangements have evolved into a collection of signature songs recognized and requested by fans—and performed as only 911 can.
The band has released two albums: the live recording “Live at Bullwinkle’s,” recorded and engineered by Fred Chester, and a studio album recorded and engineered by Perry Nelson and produced by 911 and John Kurzweg.
In addition to its original music, 911 performs distinctive renditions of songs by classic rock and folk icons such as Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, John Hiatt, John Prine, Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones, Tom Petty and the Beatles.
911 features Tillman on acoustic guitar and vocals, Rylan McDermott on drums and percussion, Richard Tengstedt on bass, and Steve Taff on electric guitar and vocals. With no digital keyboards, digital drums, Auto-Tune or other modern enhancements, the group delivers a raw and powerful rock sound that feels both familiar and fresh.
River South will offer much more than music. Festival activities will include:
A 5K run and walk
Yoga with McKenzie
Racquet Rally pickleball and tennis activities
A Firehouse Gallery photography pin-up show
Additional live entertainment throughout the day
