Bainbridge, GA — The City of Bainbridge invites the community to attend its annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Wednesday, November 11 at 11:00 AM, to be held at First Baptist Church.
This special event honors the courage, sacrifice, and service of all local veterans who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Community members are encouraged to join in this meaningful tribute to those who have defended our freedom.
This year’s ceremony will feature guest speaker Bennett Harrison, a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran and current Bainbridge Public Safety Officer, who will share reflections on service, sacrifice, and the importance of honoring our veterans.
Attendees will also enjoy a musical performance from the Bainbridge High School Band, adding a patriotic soundtrack to the occasion.
The ceremony will conclude with the traditional laying of the wreaths, a solemn and powerful tribute to the men and women who have served — and continue to serve — our nation.
“We encourage everyone to come out and take part in honoring the veterans in our community,” said City officials. “Their service has shaped our history and continues to protect our future.”
