Bainbridge Public Safety (BPS) is inviting the community to help spread holiday cheer at a Toy Drive, taking place on Saturday, December 6, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Bainbridge Walmart. The department is encouraging residents to stop by, meet local officers, and donate new, unwrapped toys to support children in need this holiday season.
This year’s event will directly benefit two meaningful programs: Christmas for Kids, BPS’s long-running community outreach initiative, and The Oak House, a child advocacy and sexual assault center serving vulnerable children and families throughout the region.
Bainbridge Public Safety organizers say the need is great, and every donation—large or small—makes a real difference.
Shoppers visiting Walmart on Saturday will be able to drop off toy donations at the BPS patrol cars stationed out front.
As the holiday season approaches, BPS hopes the toy drive will successfully support its efforts in giving back to our community. With the combined support of Walmart, local officers, and generous citizens, this year’s event is expected to brighten the holidays for countless children across Decatur County.
