The Purchasing Department is responsible for procuring, storing, and distributing the equipment, materials, and supplies needed for the successful operation of the various city divisions.  The goal of this department is to provide the most cost effective and efficient procurement system for the management, acquistion, and control of supplies.  This department also disposes of surplus property and materials through annual auctions.
