The City of Bainbridge adopted a leash law that was effective January 2005.  The city also requires animal owners to take responsibility for their animals and the actions of their animals.  The city requires an annual city license for each dog kept in the city and requires that all dogs be annually inoculated for rabies.  Chuck Wealey is the Animal Control Officer for the City of Bainbridge.  Hours of operation are from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00p.m. For contact, call 229-248-2032 or 229-248-2038.
