City Manager

Chris Hobby has been Bainbridge's City Manager since January 1, 2003. Mr. Hobby served the city as its Assistant City Manager prior to his appointment as City Manager. Mr. Hobby previously served the City of Colquitt, Georgia as City Manager from 1996-2001. Hobby is a 1990 graduate of Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. Hobby completed graduate studies at Kennesaw State University receiving a Master of Public Administration degree in 1996. 

Hobby is married to the former Anne Smith of Sandersville, Georgia and has one daughter, Sarah.
