All Non-Emergency City of Bainbridge Departments Will Be Closed for July 4th & Trash Collection Affected

Due to the July 4th Holiday, all non-emergency city departments will be CLOSED on Monday, July 4th and city-wide trash collection will be affected next week. There will be NO GARBAGE COLLECTION ON MONDAY. If your normal collection day is Monday, it will be collected on Tuesday. If your normal collection day is Tuesday, it will be collected on Wednesday. If your normal collection day is Wednesday, it will be collected on Thursday, and if your normal collection day is Thursday, it will be collected on Friday.

The TRANSFER STATION WILL BE CLOSED ON SATURDAY, JULY 2ND. The Transfer Station will be open to the public on Thursday mornings from 8am until 12 noon. You will be able to drop-off items that are too large for your city issued trash can.
City of Bainbridge residents are allowed one FREE pick-up truck load per month. Please bring your current city utility bill and a matching form of identification. If you wish to bring additional loads, there will be a $10 charge applied to your utility bill.
All customers who are not City of Bainbridge residents are welcome, and will be charged $10 per pick-up truck load.
The Transfer Station is located on Avenue C off of Hwy. 97 South.
Items NOT allowed: all building materials (sheetrock, roofing, lumber, paint), wood, fencing, chemicals, batteries, tires, or anything hazardous.
If you are unable to drop-off at the Transfer Station and need oversized items removed, the City offers curbside pick-up for a minimum fee of $200.
