Assistant City Manager/Community Development

The Community Development Department strives to ensure the highest quality of life through effective and efficient use of City Codes, Building Codes, and Property Maintenance Codes.

We also strive to enhance the quality of life in the City of Bainbridge through community development, public awareness, and protection of the health, safety, and welfare of all citizens.

The Bainbridge Leisure Services Department provides recreational opportunities for the citizens of Bainbridge and Decatur County.  The Leisure Services Department is also responsible for maintaining all the city's parks, cemeteries and green spaces, as well as operating the Bainbridge Marina.
